Can't sleep too excited to go. . .

Ok here is the Christmas dress. Remember I HAD to go for warm. Any dress that is not long sleeved and warm material our foster mother does not dress her in. The culture bundles babies up and always has all their skin covered. I knew this was the perfect dress when I saw it was red velvet, simple, and WARM!
Close up of the tights. Is that not the cutest idea ever!

OK. . . I had to have one more pic of the whole outfit. Lucia's first Christmas. . . .

Did you know that lots of the tights have cute little patterns on the buns. I got these darling pink striped, snowflake tights and then when I opened them up and another surprise . . . A SNOWFLAKE ON THE BUNS. . . just when I thought they couldn't get any cuter.

Leggings for the trip. I knew you were curious:) 2nd best to tights. I will get every pair on in three days!

All the tights for the trip. My mom had to get all three pair of the cute shoes tights it wasn't me.
Daddy smiling with the the darling sweater dresses. He thought I was crazy for taking pictures of the outfits. . . . I was having a blast.
We leave in two days. . . . and I am so excited to get our family together for the first time. I can't wait to see how Lucia has changed and to see the boys interact with her. I am thrilled to have everyone together. We have been packing maniacs around here. We leave at 6:00pm Monday night, fly to LAX than get on a plane at midnight and fly through the night to Guatemala. Pray we ALL sleep on that flight. We will get to the hotel by 8:30 the next morning. First eat breakfast then wait for the phone call in the room to go pick her up when our foster mother arrives. Our agency always has an interpreter there that oversees all of the foster mothers. She helps to communicate Lucia's schedule and what and when she is eating. She will also take pictures so we can focus on Lucia. Waiting in the room for the phone call I go crazy. Please pray that none of us get sick in Guatemala. We will be there until Friday then are heading back to LA. Since we had to fly in and out of LA we decided what a perfect opportunity to hit Disneyland and the Beach Saturday and Sunday. We surprised the boys on their birthday with the news. We will post pictures the entire time we are there. It is so much fun to hear from you when we are in Guatemala.

No News is Good news

Most recent favorite picuture of Lucia. Her doctor took it at her 4 month appointment.
I think she is so sweet in this picture, I love those little toes. I can't wait to kiss them.

This is the picture I have on my screen saver on my computer. I see it 100 times a day. It makes me happy.

Here is the latest news for the McMurrays!

1. Lucia's Christmas dress is ordered. I know this might not seem big, but I have been looking at Christmas dresses my whole life waiting to purchase one for my own daughter. It was a hard decision to find the perfect dress. I know you are all waiting on pins and needles to see it. . . .
I have let go of any hope that she will be home for Christmas to wear the dress in front of the McMurray family Christmas tree. Instead, I am going to give it to her Foster mom and ask her to take pictures of Lucia's first Christmas. If a miracle happened and we got out of PGN in the next couple of weeks. . . just maybe she could be home. . . keep praying!

2. No News is Good News - we do not want to hear from our agency until we get that glorious phone call that we are out of PGN and she is officially our daughter. We are currently 5 weeks 4 days into our stay in PGN. The earliest I have seen any babies getting out is 7 weeks 2 days. Keep praying!

3. WE LEAVE IN EXACTLY ONE WEEK TO SEE LUCIA! - We're taking the boys and spending Thanksgiving with her in Guatemala City. I am so excited to see the boys faces when they first meet her and hold her. I have been dreaming of the first time they make her smile and laugh. I hope she loves them and is not horrified by them.... like I am sometimes:) I can't wait to take pictures of all our children together. We are flying out next Monday night, and Lucia will be in our arms Tuesday morning at 10:00 am. I won't bore you with how many hours until the moment she is in our arms. Wouldn't it be awesome to find out she was out of PGN before we left or when we are with her. Pray for a smooth trip with twin boys!

Thanks for checking in with us on this crazy journey of adoption. I know with all my heart we were called to this, and the second I saw Lucia's picture I loved her so much. The moment they put her in my arms it was not any different than the moment they handed me Keagan and Kinkade in the hospital.

WHAT A WEEK!!!

Happy Halloween From the Buff McMurray Family! These pictures are for you Whit!
Cute bottoms picture:)

Lucia, I am so sorry these are your parents. . . YIKES!

My favorite Halloween family shot. I hope Lucia likes us. . . . . .

Keagan and Kinkade turned five on November first. We had a big bash at JUMPNPARTY for all of their friends. I loved this picture of Rachelle and her sweet twin boys. I prayed Rachelle would have twins when she was pregnat so someone else could join in our joy and exhaustion.

Even Grandpa Terry was in the jumping castles and sliding. At times I think the adults had just as much fun.
Keagan blowing out his candles. We had such a special birthday day on their actual birthday. The boys wanted two things: crab legs for dinner and to go to Sea Monsters at the Imax.
Pat and Patty, Keagan and Kinkades beloved Godparents.
I love this picture of the Davis kids at the party. They are so sweet and beautiful.

Kinkade had a BLAST! He has turned out to be quite the social butterfly. He adores his friends. His face was pure joy the entire party.
Mrs. B (the boys preschool teacher) of course came to the party and joined right in. She never ceases to amaze me. She is such a gift to our family.
More fun slide pictures.
Two of my favorite people in the world! Grammy Sparkle and my dear friend Carla.

Keagan and his cake. Every year I let the boys each choose a cake theme. We have a friend who makes them and they are always amazing. Keagan chose a shark this year.

Kinkade chose a world theme for his cake. Just like his Dad would choose. Aaron loves maps. . .

And yes here she. . .Lucia had her four month doctors visit. She weighs 11lbs 10oz. Not quite yet out of newborn clothes. I'm not sure about this hair style.

Look at this precious face. Please God bring her home. She is getting so big. I miss her so much.
We are coming upon week 5 in PGN. This is the week that you usually see the previos happen. Please pray for her file and that we get out of PGN in 6-8 weeks without any previos. We are so ready for her to come home. This whole process has been an amazing ride but we are ready to settle in with our new family.

More pictures from Lucia's life with her foster family. She looks so happy.
Sleeping with her family book and voice recorder.

Dear Sweet Lucia,
I miss you so much today. You are 4 months old and I would love to celebrate with you. Some days it is so hard to be away from you and watch you grow through pictures. I hope you had a wonderful day laughing, cuddling, and sleeping. I wonder how much you weigh now?
I cannot wait until we get that phone call that you are a officially our daughter. I day dream about the plane ride home and flying into Spokane with you on our lap. I cannot wait for you to meet our friends and family. There are so many people praying for you. You will capture their hearts just like you have captured ours. We are coming to see you three weeks from tomorrow.
I love you so much.
Love,
Mom

Fall at the McMurrays. . . 3 weeks into PGN!

Keep praying for Lucia. We have made it to 3 weeks in PGN today. Last week 6 families exited PGN at 7 weeks. And, 4 families got a previo (kicked out to fix the error and re-enter at week 0 again) at 4 weeks. Thanks for all your support and prayers. We can't wait to have this joyful little girl home with us.
We all love this picture. Look at that face. We have our flights books for the week of Thanksgiving. Our whole family is going to be with Lucia and spend Thanksgiving in Guatemala. We have so many pictures like this of her just crackin up. She is a laugher. Please God bring her home soon. . . .

Keagan and Kinkade dressed Mom up like a Mummy at there Pre-school Harvest celebration.
The boys in the leaves with visiting bear from pre-school.

Jumping in the leaves with Cinnamon!

Our great friends the Gilberts always throw a huge Fall party called the Hootenanny. Here are the boys and good friend Eli Armstrong at the Hootenanny. Favorite pose the muscle shot. I think we have 3 million pics just like this.
More Hootenanny. . .
Since I am staying home this year to bring Lucy home I get to go on all the field trips. We visited the pumpkin patch. This is a picture from the hay ride through the orchards with new friend Kyler.
We had a wonderful weekend last weekend enjoying the Fall. It has always been our favorite season since we were dating.
