we have been talking a lot about resolutions around here and tried to come up with at least one in each category - faith, physical, relationships, and learning!
here are the families resolutions for the new year!
mom - phrase - choose joy!
*date the kids - one on one time at least 2x month
- tell each child once a day i love them and a specific compliment, hope, dream for their life
- plan dates for us creatively on a budget
- read “where the red fern grows to the boys”
- work out 3x a week - 25 minutes cardio
- save a buy a real adult comforter - it is already picked out of course
- save up to get enough chairs to fit our family around our table
- pray more - be creative car and shower
Dad -
- friday morning breakfast dates with each kid
- more spiritual leadership in family
- make sure Lucia, Kinkade, Keagan and Dad always clean up after meals, never Mom
- build working out into calendar
keagan
- read The Lost Hero before december
- listen to verses more attentively during church
- be more patient with my sisters and try not to harass them even though it is so fun
- go undefeated in basketball and football again next season
kinkade
- finish the book the last Olympian
- try not to melt down in football, basketball and soccer all year
- rebuild my relationship with Conner spend more time with him
