it just makes me smile when i look out in our backyard to this.

hoopfest champions

they did it!!! hoopfest champions! they played hard and had so much fun playing with two of their best friends and grampy as their coach.  the jones family were here for the weekend and it was the perfect summer weekend. . friends, basketball, bbq's, the lake!

we ended the weekend with a great night swim and bonfire at the lake!

last day of school

goodbye third grade. . it has been a blast!
goodbye 4yr. old spanish preschool we will miss you!
goodbye 2 yr. old "can I please just go one day a week" spanish preschool it was the perfect start!
*the last day of school was actually june 15th for everyone. .but as you can tell i am playing major catch up on the blog. . .






what a great year! Summer here we come!

we have a dancer!

lucia went to creative dance (tap/ballet) once a week all year.  she loved it . .especially because it included brooklyn! the costumes and recital were beyond cute and the most important part it was all about her and she was so proud of all that she had learned.  these pictures are picture day and rehearsal . . recital pictures to come.  i took the day off work the day of pictures to spend the whole morning together.  we also made a mommy and me date out of rehearsal.  she loves special dates!
