Rainy Saturday Morning. . .

When you have twin five year boys you allow things you would of gasped at before BOYS! It is raining this morning for the fourth day in a row. It is a Saturday and Aaron had to work. God blessed me with twin boys and I am making the best of it. . . . . . maple bars, underwear, wiffle balls, hot tubbing and and lots of running around the yard. I have no idea what the neighbors think and at this point I don't really care. The Boys have been sprinting around in the yard(backyard for all of you out there who about to turn me in) in their underwear playing wiffle ball and jumping in the hot tub every few minutes. We are all HAPPY! I tried to save one maple bar for Aaron for when he gets home but one bite at a time it is gone. I deserve 2 maple bars! Where is the sun God it is JUNE!

Darcy,
I love this and as a mom of boys....beleive me, I get it. We mom's do what we have to on rainy days to keep the peace and run off the energy. What a great idea!

Oh dearest Darcy... the irony is what an amazing mom you really are.

Besides, what more all-American Saturday morning activity is there besides playing wiffle ball in the rain...in your underwear...jumping in the hot tub to warm up...and snacking on maple bars? Right? Right.

That looks like FUN! I wish I had thought of that yesterday---instead we did yard work with a bunch of YL kids---what were we thinking??? Okay, underwear might not be as cute or APPROPRIATE for us :) but for your boys...adorable and totally appropriate!

Darcy, you are such an amazing Mom! You make lemonaide out of lemons & I'm always inspired by your creativity in parenting. Love that pic of K&K together up close. Totally smiled at them runnin' around in their underware in the backyard - you can literally feel their BOY energy through the pics! When this blog turns into a baby book, it's going to be the best trip down memory lane...
