Fourth of July. . .Referralaversary. . .twins loose first teeth!

One of my very favorite traditions that has evolved with our family is to go to our dearest friends and the boys godparents lake place for the Fourth of July. It is heaven on earth! We all agreed that the Fourth of July has almost passed Christmas in our favorite holiday. We had the most fabulous time and are so thankful for the Murphys welcoming us and sharing their beautiful cabin and special family time. We feel so special and blessed to spend three days with such a wonderful family. This year Rio was there (the darling little blonde in the picture.) The boys have known Rio awhile they were in Whitney's wedding when they were four. The three of them had a blast together all weekend long!
Every year the boys go fishing and the highlight is cleaning the fish . . here they are in the sink with the fish helping clean. Keagan then proceeded to carry around the fish skin the entire day. Fresh BBQ Bass for dinner ~ so yummy!
The sweetest dogs were there this year . . . . our family favorite Maggie and a new addition to our favorite list Charlie. . .Lucy was acting like a dog by the end of the weekend since she was the same size and crawling right next to them and now she barks all the time.
BIG NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DRUM ROLL. . . .. .BOTH BOYS HAVE LOST THE SAME FIRST TOOTH WITHIN THE LAST WEEK! It is adorable! Twins . . . Twins . . .Twins!

The lake tooth fairy was extra generous:)

Sparklers with Dad.
My "cool guy" Keagers!
More sparklers with Patty!
Watching fireworks with Jordan! He is a kid magnet!
I love this picture back from fishing. . . . our sweet boys!

All smiles at the LAKE!

The new deck on the cabin is magnificent. . . . those Murphys are so talented!

Isn't Charlie adorable. . all the boys in the family want a puppy now. . OH MAN!

When we got home on Sunday we headed to Grampy and Grammy's for our weekly Sunday night dinner. . . of course more Fourt of July Celebration. . . .Grammy is the Holiday QUEEEN!
Fun in the Playroom.
More strawberry shortcake. We ate a lot of strawberry shortcake this weekend!
Lucia's first Strawberry Shortcake.
Maybe I just need to cover everything with whip cream and she will eat it.
Dad and Lucia watching the Olympic trials together.
Grammy's house on the Fourth!

I also have to mention July 5th is our referralaversary. . . we got the long awaited phone call that our baby girl was born. I will never forget running to the computer to see the pictures. I thought she was the most beautiful baby girl I had ever seen. Our family brought the laptop with us to Red Robin that night to celebrate so we could stare at her picture all dinner. It was very surreal, yet so real! I missed her from the moment I saw her and could barley think of anything else. We frantically started planning for our first trip to meet her. We had just gotten back from Murphy Bay when we got the phone call. This Fourth of July she was here with us and an American! I am so grateful. It was such a long journey to get her home, but I would do it all over again.

Darcy you're pictures from the lake are amazing... as always! I think Charlie was a bit sad when he got home Sunday with no kids around. :( Hope Lucia is feeling better- she is such a champ! And possibly the cutest thing on Earth...

Such a fun Fourth with the McMurrays!! Another one for the books. :) I think you should officially add "Maggie" to one of Lucia's new words. She totally said it!! Also, I adore that picture of Jordan with all the kiddos... I might have to frame it! :)
