our favorite spot - 14 years!

we went away to celebrate out anniversary early. our favorite vacation spot on the planet is penticton canada. we always stay at the most magnificent bed and breakfast. it is called god's mountain and it feels like you are in italy. it is surrounded by vineyards, mountains, and has a fabulous view of the lake. we love it here.

we seem to always get the pool to ourselves it think everyone else is out wine tasting at the hundreds of boutique wineries nestled in the hills.

we talked, laughed, layed in the sun, ate, drank wine, hiked, cuddled a lot, and simply enjoyed not being interrupted every two seconds. . . . it was an amazing get away!

the fourth!

the fourth of july is in the top five or maybe even top three best days of the entire year! the lake, one of our all time favorite families - the murphys, great food, sun . . .it doesn't get much better! thanks murhpys for making the fourth so fun and special for the us. . . . we LOVE you!

lulu is four!

the day started with a full house of friends. . . .the jones family, and the boys great friend tyson. we had yummy strawberry crepes for breakfast and of course maple bars!

we are humbled and honored everyday day to be lucia's forever family. she is beautiful in every way. she is the sunshine of our family and every time i look in her eyes i am reminded of God's faithfullness to us when we follow our hearts.
